We all know that taking care of your face is very important to maintain beautiful and healthy skin. This means you need to wash your skin thoroughly twice daily. But with all the new products coming to markets today, how do you know which one is the right for you?

There are many different types of skin people have: oily skin, dry skin, combination skin and, of course, wrinkled skin. It could be you think your skin is dry when really it is oily; this happens due to improper choices of lotions, foundations and powders.

The following details will explain about the different cause of dry skin.
  1. Exposure to winter winds, the cold and sunlight will cause the skin to become dry.

  2. Using different types of oil, poor or lack of nutrients and vitamins, dangerous chemicals as well as using the wrong soaps.

  3. Exposure to sunlight can damage your skin and/or cause skin cancer. The best way to avoid skin cancer is to limit your exposure to harmful ultraviolet rays in sunlight and from sun lamps.

  4. The lack of water and eating unhealthy balance meals may also cause dry skin.
A smooth skin is one of the first things you notice about a person. You can keep your skin healthy and attractive by practicing good health habits, including eating balance meals and drinking plenty of water every day. You can also use baby oil for dry skin it will help you keep your skin moist, you can also use the baby lotion which helps keep your skin smooth in soft like a baby. Caring for Oily Skin:
We all learned in health class that regular washing keeps your skin clean and free from odors in bacterial. Moisture in the skin keeps it smooth and flexible. Creams or any type of lotion that holes moisture in helps protects against dry skin. When caring for oil skin, you should wash with a low-fat soap or cleanser that will reduce oiliness to your skin. You can also talk to your Dermatologist about protecting your skin against exposure to winter, cold, in sunlight. He or she will give you an information package or program that includes the details on soaps, cleansers, make-up, aftershave lotions and other grooming products for your skin.

Skin Allergies: Keeping your skin clean and clear
  1. For Women and girls, please make sure you remove the make-up every day. Also avoid putting on too much make-up; too much make-up will clog your skin.

  2. When using liquid foundation and face powder try to use as little as possible. "Caking on" will clog the skins pores and contribute to skin irritation.

  3. You might also want to avoid using different products in treatment for your skin unless you have consulted a doctor.

  4. In order to find out if you're allergic to a particular product, simply apply a little amount directly on your arm where it can't be seen. If you get an allergic reaction on your arm, immediately contact your doctor for an appointment.

When consulting a Dermatologist, make sure you ask questions. Don't be afraid, it is the best way to learn what's right for your skin and what's not right for your skin.

The most important factor in promoting good, healthy facial skin is to wash, tone and treat twice a day. Do not go to sleep with a dirty face - even if you wore no make-up that day, you must clean you face at night. Think about how you sleep, if you lye on your side, you are embedding the oil, dirt and impurities into your pores. Don't believe me? Take a test, next time you don't wear make-up all day, get a cotton ball soaked with your toner and wipe it across your face prior to washing it. Now look at the cotton ball - black isn't it?

Your face and neck are the two places which will show signs of aging faster than anywhere else on you. Take care of them, protect them and they in turn will protect you.
